Your Love, O Lord!

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing an anniversary card which I made for my in-laws.....I know, it's not a traditional looking anniversary card, but it's definitely full of love! This scripture from the "Faith" set by Our Daily Bread designs is one of my faves, this color combo totally makes me smile, and okay, I am totally in love with the new Prima paper packs.....this gorgeous pattern is from "Sparkling Spring". I never have to worry whether they will like my cards or not.....as long as I put lots of love and joy into the making of them!

Card details:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Faith'
Cardstock: SU Certainly Celery and Whisper White
Designer Paper: Prima 'Sparkling Spring'
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, SU Certainly Celery

For the general layout of this card, I used one of Gloria's Sketch Tuesday Challenges at Christian Paper Crafts. This sketch was too great to pass up and was perfect for using some of my fave new tools, the Spellbinders Lacey Ovals (LOVE!!!)

Here is a close-up, so that the Glimmer Mist is visible.....that stuff is so camera shy at times!!

Our Daily Bread designs May New Release Blog Hop!

Welcome, everyone, to the Our Daily Bread designs' May New Release Blog Hop!!! Wow, do we have some awesome new stamps and accessories to show off today! To see all of the new "goodies", click HERE for the New Release post on the ODBD blog.

For my sample, I have used several new items which are being released today. The raised frame was created by stamping the Vintage Border stamp (from the "Porch" set) four times with SEI Chalk Ink, then cut out with the "Vintage Border Cutting Die", two of these borders were then cut at 45 degree angles on both ends and matched up with the other two borders to create a frame. The entire frame was then lined with Zva Creative pearls. The bottom panel was created by inking up the "Vintage Border Embossing Plate" with SEI chalk ink, then "de-bossing" the image into vanilla cardstock, and then sponging the edges. The tag stamp and sentiment are from "Mini Tags 3"; there are three tag sets this month, designed by fellow "Breadstick", Lorelie Kim, which can be cut out with Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio Three...how cool is that?! The flower is by Prima, the satin ribbon is by May Arts, the double bow was tied with a Bow Easy, and there are several sprays of "Pearl" Glimmer Mist for a sparkly finish!!

Now, the moment you've been waiting for......on with the Blog Hop!!! If you have hopped here from the amazing Becca Feeken's blog, you are right where you want to be!
