Wisteria Lily Blessings

Hi, everyone!  Today's Technique Lover's Challenge over at Splitcoast is 'Floral Frenzy' last hurrah for flowers before autumn sets in!  For my card, I have used the Stargazer Lily image from the 'Beauty' set, a sentiment from 'Flourished Verses', and one of the border dies from the ODBD Custom 'Leafy Edged Borders' Dies.  I don't know if there are real lilies that are purple, but I was in the mood for Wisteria Wonder ink, so here they are! :)  The ivory panel was first cut with the border die, then stenciled in green and purple.  The lily was stamped twice, one of the lilies was popped up for dimension.  I used watercoloring since I don't have fancy blending markers.  I had originally stamped the sentiment on the ivory panel, but I must have been cross-eyed and stamped it crooked, even using my Stampamajig...ugh!!  So, I did a cover-up with the ODBD Custom 'Ovals' and 'Stitched Ovals' Dies instead. The card is not balanced well, but the image was already glued down and I couldn't tolerate a visibly crooked sentiment!!

God bless!

Wow, lovely color choice & coloring of the Lilies! Beautiful card! You may not think it's balanced, the artist's critique, but I don't see that! I like your layout with the extra pop of color & dimension with your sentiment on die cuts! :)
