You Have Blessed My Life!

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday!!!  This morning I was happy to be able to play in the Inspiration Challenge over at of my fave challenges! The challenge is to choose an item from "French Garden House"......I chose this adorable blue birdie (cappuccino) cup to make a birthday card for my niece.  I'm also excited to be using some brand-spanking-new Spellbinder dies...yay!!  The fancy-cut panel was cut with Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight and the adorable teacup is from "Nested Teacups".  The card was cut out with the Spellbinders Labels Eight, using my Grand Calibur....learn how to cut shaped cards HERE.  Since a lot of teacups have a golden edge or detailing, I used some Smooch paint to line the edges of the cup and all of the decorative cuts from the main panel. I created a "faux teabag" for my sentiment by stamping, scoring, folding, sponging, then stapling some thread in between. Please click on the photo for a close-up.
