New Inspiration from Divinity Designs LLC April Blessings Box!

Hi, everyone! Today I will be sharing more samples from the April Blessings Box! These products have been super fun to work with and I know I will use them over and over even after the next Blessings Box is revealed! Check out all of the details and more samples HERE! 

 

My first sample for today features a gorgeous pattern from the Cottage Garden A2 Card Fronts, along with the Peony Dies, Fence Die, Long and Lean Letters Dies, Pierced Rectangles Dies, Matting Rectangle Die, A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer Dies. The letters were cut from the designer paper then cut three more times from cardstock in order to give the Eclipse look.  The bottom layer of each peony die-cut was colored with a blending brush with the white layer on top, adhered with adhesive sheets (much easier than glue!)

 

Next up is a get well card created for a friend's mother who is going through chemo. The sentiment from 'Birthday Wishes' was stamped on vellum (adhered with an adhesive sheet) so that the beautiful background would show through. The designer papers shown are from the Shabby Chic Rose Bookmarks, framed with the A2 Pierced Multi Windows Die. 

 

Next is a birthday card created for my niece.  I love the metallic features in all of the stained glass paper packs since I am obsessed with Foil Cardstock!  This gorgeous pattern from the Stained Glass Roses A2 Card Fronts pairs perfectly with gold foil cardstock and the Rose Dies set.  The bottom layer of the roses was water-colored with metallic shimmer paints, though the camera did not pick up the sparkle.  The sentiment from 'Birthday Wishes' was stamped on vellum and adhered with an adhesive sheet.  Other dies used: Scalloped Ovals, Ovals, Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer.

 

My next sample was mailed to a friend for her birthday.  The paper from the Cottage Garden A2 Card Fronts is so gorgeous that I hate to cover it up, which is why I have been using a lot of vellum. The sentiment from 'Birthday Wishes' was stamped on vellum, layered onto an adhesive sheet, cut out with the insert die from the Ornamental Oval Set Dies, and adhered to the floral paper. The frame die of this set was cut with lavender foil cardstock and popped up with Foam Mounting Tape.  The tiny hearts were cut with the Clouds and Raindrops Dies.  Other dies used: Matting Rectangle and A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer.

 

Last but not least, here is a set of bookmarks created with one of the Add-On bookmark paper packs, the Rose Bookmarks Paper Pad and the Bookmark Trio Dies.  

On the back are scripture verses from the Bookmark Scriptures 2 stamp set.  The scriptures were stamped onto vellum, adhered to the pink cardstock with Adhesive Sheets, then die cut with the bookmark die.  I like the soft,  frosty look of vellum on cardstock, which is why I did not just stamp directly onto the cardstock.

Divinity Designs LLC June New Release

Hi, everyone!  The months are flying by and it's time for the JUNE release! Check out all of the new goodies plus awesome samples HERE on the website or HERE on Instagram.  Enjoy!

For my first sample, I chose a pretty pattern from the Ephemera Letters A2 Card Fronts Paper Pad, then cut the sections with the Leafy Edged Borders Dies and Pierced Rectangles Dies. The pieces were adhered to a Matting Rectangle cut from ivory.  The sentiment was cut with the new Happy Birthday And Layers 2 Dies, with an extra cut layer for more dimension.  Other items used: A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer Dies, Butterfly Layering Combo 3 Dies, Blending Brushes, Foam Mounting Tape, and Adhesive Sheets (to adhere the word die cuts together easily.)

For my second sample, I began by using a Pierced Rectangles Die to cut a panel from the Woodland Wonderland Paper/Die Duo pack, used Blending Brushes to create subtle clouds and grass, then added the die cut critters and sentiments from the paper pack.  Super easy and quick since all of the images cut out at the same time! Other items used: Matting Rectangle Die, Clouds and Raindrops Die (for a stencil), A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer, Foam Mounting Tape.

For my third sample, I chose my favorite pattern from the Beautiful Bouquets A2 Card Fronts paper pack to die cut with the Fractured Quilt Landscape Die set.  I used an adhesive sheet to adhere the strips in place. The sentiment and layers were cut from the Special Someone Dies set. Other items used: Matting Rectangle Die, A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer, Foam Mounting Tape, and Blending Brushes.

Divinity Designs LLC Birthday Bird of the Month - June

Hi, everyone!  It's time to share the next Birthday Bird of the Month set for June....it's the Dove!  Check out more beautiful samples and find out how to get your own set HERE!

For my first sample, I created a reverse mask and used blending brushes to color the image to look like my beloved mourning doves which visit our bird-feeder each day. To coordinate with the caramel color, I chose a pattern from the Wedding Wishes paper pad and the Flourishes Mixed Media Stencil with caramel ink.  Other items used: Leafy Edged Borders Dies, Pierced Rectangles Dies, Matting Rectangle Die, A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer Dies, Blending Brushes, and Foam Mounting Tape,  The gingham bow was tied with a Bow Easy.

For my second sample, I decided to create a winter-themed card to show the versatility of the set.  A pretty pattern from the Sparkling Snowflakes Paper Pad was used, along with the following items: Mini Slimline Thin Pierced Frame, Mini Slimline Card Base, Christmas Dove Dies (the little copper sparkles), Blending Brushes, and Foam Mounting Tape.

Divinity Designs LLC May New Release!

Hi, everyone!  Wow, it's May already?!  It's time for another new release from Divinity Designs LLC!  Check out the entire release and beautiful samples HERE on the website or HERE on Instagram.

 

My first sample was created for a co-worker who recently resigned in order to begin a new career. I chose to pair one of the scenes from the Great Outdoors A2 Card Fronts with the Shining Light Lantern Die.  The Maya Angelou quote from 'My Light' was stamped onto acetate with Stazon Jet Black.  Other items used: Pierced Rectangles Dies, Matting Rectangle, A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer Dies, Blending Brush, and Foam Mounting Tape.

Next is a Mother's Day bookmark card created for my Mother-in-law. I used all of the scriptures from Bookmark Scriptures 1 and Bookmark Scriptures 2 for the six bookmarks tucked into the pockets of the card.  The card base was cut with the A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer Dies set, and the Double Diagonal Pockets Dies were used to cut the pockets and layers.

 

There are six bookmarks which show many different patterns from the Peony Bookmarks Paper Pad.  The first three feature Bookmark Scriptures 1 and the second set of three feature Bookmarks Scriptures 2 on the back.

This is a photo of the card without the bookmarks, which shows off the gorgeous pattern from the Cottage Garden A2 Card Fronts pack.  The sentiment from 'Daughter's Best Friend' was stamped with Stazon Navy onto vellum so that the pretty paper would be visible. Using adhesive sheets is the easiest way to adhere vellum with a seamless look.  A scalloped circle die was used for the sentiment frame. 

My third sample features the Fishers of Men stamp set and another awesome scene from the Great Outdoors A2 Card Fronts pack.  The tent and campfire were cut with the Lantern Add-Ons Die set. The designer paper was cut with a Double Stitched Rectangle Die, the mat and card were cut with the A2 Landscape Card Base and Layer Die set.

Divinity Designs LLC Birthday Bird of the Month - May 2025

Hi, everyone!  This month's Birthday Bird of the Month is the Nightingale!  Check out how to get your stamp/die duo set 'HERE'!  

For my first sample, I chose a beautiful night-time scene from the Landscapes Paper Pad since the Nightingales like to sing in the evenings.  For the image, I began by coloring the beak with a marker, then covered it and the eye with a clear gel pen.  I then created a reverse mask with a piece of scratch paper and colored the bird with Blending Brushes. The rest of the image was colored with markers and popped up with Foam Mounting Tape.  Other dies used were the Pierced Rectangles, Matting Rectangle, and A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer.

 My second sample features the most common color of Nightingale, colored in the same fashion as my first sample.  The designer paper is from the Rustic Garden Paper Pad.  Dies used: Arches Shaker Set, Pierced Rectangle, Matting Rectangle, and the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer set.

Divinity Designs LLC April 2025 Blessings Box!

Here are some fantastic add-on products which can received with a discount if combined with the Blessings Box:

 

For my first sample, I chose one of my favorite papers from the Cottage Garden A2 Card Fronts paper pack and cut the bottom peony out with a circle die (to use for another card below).  The sentiment from Birthday Wishes was stamped onto white vellum and adhered to the white panel with an adhesive sheet. Other products used: Pierced Rectangles Dies, Matting Rectangle Die, A2 Portrait Card Base with Layer Die set, and Foam Mounting Tape.

 

The peony image cut out from the previous card was used for this card. The scripture verse from Birthday Wishes was stamped on white vellum then adhered to the peony circle with an adhesive sheet; a Scalloped Circle Die was used for a mat.  For the background panel, a white panel was dry embossed with the Cross Stitch Embossing Folder, then green, yellow, and apricot inks were used with Blending Brushes.  The bottom layers of the Peony Dies were colored with Blending Brushes and the top layers, cut from apricot, were adhered using adhesive sheets. (Attach a piece of adhesive sheet to the back of the cardstock before die-cutting.  This saves the trouble of trying to glue the intricate die-cuts!)

 

Next up is a card created for my step-mom for Mother's Day.  Her favorite color is red, so this gorgeous designer paper from the Stained Glass Roses A2 Card Fronts pack was perfect! The Roses Dies were cut from red and gold foil cardstock to coordinate with the designer paper. The sentiment is from The Greatest Gift Stamp/Die Duo set; panels cut and matted with Ovals and Pierced Ovals Dies.

 

This next card was created for a great-niece for her birthday.  I chose a sentiment from Birthday Wishes and a pretty bookmark from the Shabby Chic Rose Bookmarks Paper Pad. One end of the bookmark was cut with the bottom end of the Hummingbird Bookmark Die, then cut the other end of the bookmark in order to create a panel instead of a bookmark.  Other items used: Fancy Fans Mixed Media Stencil, Blending Brushes, Butterfly Layering Combo 3, Mini Slimline Card Base, Mini Slimline Rectangles, Mini Slimline Scalloped Rectangles, Ovals Dies, Scalloped Ovals Dies.

 

Last but not least, an anniversary card created for my in-laws, featuring another gorgeous pattern from the Cottage Garden A2 Card Fronts Paper Pad and the most perfect scripture for them from Bookmark Scriptures 2.  I love to stamp onto vellum and adhere straight to the designer paper using an adhesive sheet; this allows a clear image with the stamp but it allows the beautiful paper to be seen as well.  The largest arch die from the Arches Shaker Set was cut and popped up with Foam Mounting Tape over the scripture.
