I have create two samples for today's hop.....my first sample features "Bless This Home". I love this cottage image and the scriptures and sentiment are fantastic too!
This is a card I made for my niece and her family, who have just moved in to their first house.....very exciting!!!
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Bless This Home';
Cardstock: Stampin Up 'Early Espresso' (brown) and 'Very Vanilla';
Designer Paper: Glitz 'Pretty In Pink';
Ink: Stazon Fuschia Pink, Ranger Antique Linen, and Stampin Up Early Espresso;
Accessories: Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Circle die (for shaped card, cut out with Grand Calibur) and Circle Nestabilities, Bow Easy, Zva Creative Pearls, 'Pearl' Glimmer Mist, Stampin Up Seam Binding.
My second sample features an all time fave set of mine for masculine cards, "Keep My Lamp Burning"! I never get tired of this image....it can be used in sooooo many different ways!! I love the scripture verses which fit perfectly within the skyline....very powerful and strengthening verses!
This card I created for a very dear friend, who has been in and out of the hospital for a year. The scripture I chose is to remind him that he can lean on the Lord for strength and protection. I did not use any embellishments, but stamped the lighthouse an extra time in order to cut it out and pop it up. Everything but the compass was colored with ink pads and sponge daubers.
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Keep My Lamp Burning';
Cardstock: Stampin Up 'Crumb Cake' (Kraft) and 'Whisper White';
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Ranger Antique Linen, Stampin Up 'Wisteria Wonder', 'Calypso Coral', and 'Old Olive';
Accessories: Sponge Daubers, Foam Tape;
Size: 5 x 3-1/2.
And now......on with the hop! From here you will hop over to Rosemary's amazing blog!!!
Happy Hopping and God bless!!
