Today we are celebrating our nephew's 3rd birthday! Braydon is three years old and loves Thomas.....actually any type of trains, trucks, race-cars, or heavy equipment! The card design was based two different challenges over at Splitcoast: Roxie's sketch challenge was a perfect fit, plus Kristine's Ways To Use It Challenge was to use stickers.....dang, can't get any better than that! On the nameframe, I traced the hill from a dinner plate to place the train and letters. Bray's name was too long for a straight track, but I like how it turned out! The signs were cut from some Thomas dp I found at Michael's....found the stickers there too! The main image on the card is also a sticker, but before adhering it to the white panel, I sponged the background scene using masking and reverse masking with a piece of scratch paper. The planks were cut from Close to Cocoa, stamped with SU's Weathered stamp. Pretty simple and very fun! I can't wait to see his precious little eyes light up!!! Have a beautiful day! Thanks for stopping by!
