Here are the new and previously released products from Our Daily Bread designs which are featured in my two cards below:

ODBD Our Savior's Birth ODBD Christmas Card Collection 2016

ODBD Custom Layered Lacey Ovals Dies ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies

ODBD Custom Ovals Dies ODBD Custom Pierced Ovals Dies

ODBD Custom Faith, Hope, and Love Dies ODBD Cathedral Window - Marble

ODBD Apothcary Bottles ODBD Custom Apothecary Botles Dies

ODBD Joy In A Jar ODBD Custom Antique Labels Dies

For my first card, I chose a beautiful pattern from the ODBD Christmas Card Collection 2016, along with eggplant cardstock and an ivory shade which looks like parchment paper.  The wonderful image from 'Our Savior's Birth' was stamped in eggplant, cut out with the ODBD Custom Pierced Ovals Dies, stenciled in lilac, then matted with the ODBD Custom Ovals Dies.  The die-cut frame was cut out with the ODBD Custom Layered Lacey Ovals Dies.  I just HAD to use the 'Love' die from the ODBD Custom Faith, Hope, and Love Dies set because of the awesome sentiment.  The ivory panel and designer paper were cut out with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies.  (Please forgive the 'bland' photo....after many photos, this was the best I could do! Please click on the photo for a better view.)

ODBD Our Savior's Birth, ODBD Custom Pierced Ovals Dies, ODBD Custom Ovals Dies, ODBD Custom Layered Lacey Ovals Dies, ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies, ODBD Christmas Card Collection 2016, Card Designer Angie Crockett

For my second card, I used the 'Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh' sentiment from 'Our Savior's Birth' on three different jars.  The stamp has all three words together, but I masked them so that I could stamp one at a time.  The 'Apothecary Bottles' were stamped on ivory cardstock, sponged, then cut out with the ODBD Custom Apothecary Bottles Dies.  The fancy labels are from 'Joy in a Jar'; these were cut out with the ODBD Custom Antique Labels Dies.  For the jar on the left, I stamped the 'Cathedral Window - Marble' onto vellum, colored the sections with markers, then cut it to fit the jar.  I used burlap ribbon at the bottom and linen thread around the necks of the jars. The caramel background panel was cut with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies, the edges were sponged, then yellow gemstones were added.

God bless!

Now that is really different, reminding us of the gifts given to the Holy family. Maybe a reference inside the card of they signify would be an extra gift. Just a thought.

Your decision to have the jars be filled with gold, frankincense, and myrrh is GENIUS. I love the concept as well as the execution. But then both cards are wonderful!! Thanks so much for sharing them with us on this blog hop. They are inspiring designs and wonderfully showcase ODBD items!

Love your cards! The first one is lovely with the soft eggplant playing against the ivory. I love the die cut! It seems quite intricate yet does not detract from the card at all. The second card shows what a sense of humor you must have! I would never have thought of doing that. It is perfect! Thank you for sharing.
