ODBD May New Release Blog Hop!

Hi, everyone!  Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs May New Release Blog Hop!!!!

If you have hopped here from Chris Olsen's fabulous blog, you are in the right place.  If not, please head over to the ODBD Blog and start from the beginning.....we sure don't want you to miss a thing!  Hop from blog to blog, leave a comment, then return to the ODBD Blog and let us know that you have finished.  You have until Thursday, May 2nd at 8 pm EDT to complete the hop.  There will be three prizes awarded, a $20, a $30, and a $40 gift certificate to the ODBD Store.....yay!!!  (Gift certificates must be redeemed during the month of May.)  Winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog on May 3rd.

ODBD Cathedral Window - Marble
ODBD Exclusive Spellbinders Cathedral Window and Border Dies

For my project today, I have used the Cathedral Window - Marble stamp and the ODBD Exclusive Spellbinders Cathedral Window And Border Dies set.  The window stamp was stamped multiple times in versamark on white cardstock, then embossed with clear embossing powder, then colored with a sponge dauber in pink and accented with a pink marker.  Four window frames total were cut out with the custom die set, two of which were hand trimmed for the side of the Center-step design, the other two make up the "door". (I had to cut two separate frames so that the swinging door had a frame top edge and the top arched piece also had a framed edge at the bottom.)    The sentiment at the bottom, plus the stamped frame are from the "Mini Tags 1' set.  For the finishing touches, Zva Creative pearls and roses were added, along with some Cheery Lynn Designs 'Fanciful Flourish' small and large and satin ribbon.  To learn how to create a center-step design, check out the tutorial HERE on the ODBD Blog.

(For those of you wondering, the photo is my own wedding photo from twenty-one years ago! Oh, to be so young and HOT again! lol!!!!)

On the back of my center-step card is the new "Butterfly Mini" stamp.....one of many new "Stamped By.." stamps.....yay!!!!  The Antique Labels and Border Die Set was perfect to show off my new stamp, but I forgot to leave room at the bottom for my name.....oops!!!!  :)
