Our Daily Bread designs' January DT Challenge

Our first Our Daily Bread designs' Design Team Challenge for 2010 is finally underway!!! The super-sweet and uber-talented Chris Olsen is our new challenge team coordinator and has chosen a very simple, yet fun challenge for you to try:
Use the color brown on your project, plus die-cuts or punches.
See, how easy is that? All of you reading this have NO excuse not to play, especially when there are prizes at stake!!! Two lucky participants will win a $15.00 credit towards any stamps in the ODBD store! You have until January 23rd at 8 EST to link your creation on the ODBD blog....we have invited Mr. Linky to our site...just look on the sidebar there and you will find him!
Also, if you upload to any online gallery, please use the Keyword: ODBDC110. Though it is not a requirement for you to use Our Daily Bread designs' stamps, we would LOVE to see them if you've got them! (You never know when your work might get picked for "Customer Card of the Day!")

As soon as our DT received our awesome new sets for January, I KNEW I wanted to make a stair-step/accordian card with the "Noah's Ark" set! You can find the instructions and measurements on Splitcoast under the Technique Lover's Challenges. HERE is a direct link to that technique. For the waves, light blue cardstock was ran through a wavy crimper, cut out, then the edges were sponged. The sky was colored with sponge daubers and SU ink pads, then colored gemstones were adhered. The ark was colored with markers, then cut out and adhered to the center panel so that there were waves in front and waves behind. Other materials used: Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio 2, EK Success Dotted Scallop Punch, and gingham ribbon.

Just in case you haven't heard the news, Our Daily Bread designs is now a Member Company over at Splitcoast! To celebrate this new and awesome opportunity to reach more stampers through God's word on ODBD's stamps, Kelley will be awarding a $50.00 gift certificate to one lucky person who has left a comment on our new "Welcome" forum HERE. You still have time....just leave a comment there by January 10. Good luck!!

Check out what the rest of our team has created for this special challenge:
Thanks so much for stopping by! We can't wait to see your challenge submissions! Don't forget to link your creation with Mr. Linky on the ODBD blog by Jan. 23 for a chance to win! Good Luck and God Bless!
