Jesus and Coffee

Hi, everyone!  Looking at the gorgeous colors and patterns in the 'Latte Love' Paper Collection from Our Daily Bread designs, I just had to make a quilt pattern!  I used the ODBD Custom Log Cabin Quilt Die with vanilla cardstock (for the frame) first.  I cut out another piece of cardstock which is the same size of the quilt frame, ran it through my Xyron sticker maker, then adhered the vanilla quilt frame to it.  Once I cut out the pattern and orange quilt pieces, I popped them into the frame and pressed them onto the sticker layer.  This is the easiest and quickest way I have found to adhere the quilt pieces together.  The coffee cups from 'Hug in a Mug' Stamp/Die Duos were stamped twice onto vanilla cardstock plus two shades from the 'Latte Love' Paper Collection.  The sentiment was split between the two cups using masking.  Once the cups were paper-pieced together onto the custom die, they were popped up with foam tape over the vanilla seam binding.  The bow was tied using a Bow Easy.  I will be submitting this card to the Spring and Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, which is open until June 1st.
