Here are the new and previously released items from Our Daily Bread designs which are featured in my two projects below:

ODBD The Beatitudes ODBD For Thine Is The Kingdom

ODBD Custom Deco Border Die ODBD Custom Ornate Ovals Dies

ODBD Ornate Background ODBD Easter Card Collection 2016

ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies

For my first card, I cut out four borders with the ODBD Custom Deco Border Die from pearl metallic cardstock (stenciled with Stazon lavender), taped them with temporary tape to an A2 size card base (5-1/2 x 4-1/4), then mitred the corners together.  I'm thrilled that the borders were the perfect size to do this without a lot of fuss!!! Once all of the corners were cut, the four pieces were glued to the card base using craft glue.  The center panel was stamped in eggplant with 'The Beatitudes' stamp onto floral designer paper from the ODBD Easter Card Collection 2016, then cut out with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies.  These words are so powerful, so they get full attention here; the only embellishments added were pearls in the corners. (Please click on the photo for a closer look.)

For my second card, I started by cutting out the fancy oval panel out of textured tan cardstock using the ODBD Custom Ornate Ovals Dies, then stamped in eggplant with 'For Thine is the Kingdom'.  The oval panel was layered over a plum panel on which the 'Ornate Background' was stamped in eggplant, then cut out with the ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies.  Sheer ribbon and purple pearls were the only added embellishments.

  3. All of the card designs this month are so nice. But, I especially like the shades of purple with The Lords Prayer. The oval die cut is lovely and timeless; the shading and the pearls really make it shine!
