Our Daily Bread designs January New Release Blog Hop!

Happy New Year, everyone!  Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs New Release Blog Hop!!  We are starting out the new year just right....with nine new stamp sets and a new exclusive Spellbinders die set...yay!  See all of the new releases HERE or at the ODBD Home Page!

If you have hopped here from sweet Sabrina's blog, you are in the right place.  If not, please head over to the ODBD Blog and start at the beginning....we don't want you to miss a thing.  Hop from blog to blog, see everyone's creations using the new sets, leave a comment for each, then head back to the ODBD Blog and let us know that you have finished the hop.  The hop will run until Wednesday, January 2nd at 8 pm EST, and the winners will be announced on Jan. 3rd on the ODBD Blog.  There will be three winners randomly chosen to receive a $20.00 gift certificate to the ODBD Store and one blessed hopper who will win a $75.00 gift certificate!!!  Woo hoo!!

I am in love with the entire release....I know....I say that every month!  However, there are so many little ones in my family that I will use these sets over and over!  The sentiment sets are a blessing as well....any stamper can tell you that you can't have too many sentiments!

For my first project, I chose to create a scrapbook page of my great-neice's 1st birthday earlier this year.  I chose to use the "Special Girl" and "Princess" sets. (Please click on any photo for a close-up view.)

My second sample, a birthday card for my nephew, features the "Special Boy" set.  The mountain/trees background is the image from the "Keep Climbing" set, which was released earlier this year.

Okay, I couldn't help it.....I have another sample!   My third (and last) sample features the "Words of Faith" set, along with the image from the "Jesus" set, which was released a couple of years back.

    It is nice to see some cards that is "manly". I love the frilly pretty ones but there are a few men I like to send cards too and I always come up blank when it comes to ideas...thanks for these. Love the cute baby by the way.

    So many ideas, so little time. Even though my nephews are now teenagers I could see many uses for this stamp set, finding "men" card ideas is one of my stumbling blocks.
    And I would love to use these saying for our church, who sends out monthly birthday cards, sympathy cards, etc.

    I love how you combined stamps to make some great projects! Such a cute scrapbook page for the Princess! I am sure she will love to look at this page for years to come. (I made a little picture book for my niece's princess party years ago and this set would have come in handy.) The boy card is amazing! Some little boy will just love to receive this. Adding the mountains certainly makes it extra special! I can see your 3rd card going to someone who is right at the brink of trusting Jesus- wonderful! Thanks for sharing these with us!

    wow, you sure were busy. the princess layout tickled me. I just gave my granddaughters tiara's for Christmas and in less that 2 mins poof one is already history. I love the layout and the truck looks like it belongs right where it is. great job on all of your cards.
