Hi everyone!!! Today is a very special day......Kelley, owner and founder of Our Daily Bread designs, turns the big 50 today! Happy Birthday, Kelley!!! I could tease about her being "older than dirt" now, but I'm getting pretty close to that landmark myself, so it's not that funny!!! lol!!! Since Kelley is the bestest Mrs.-Boss-Lady (MBL) ever, the Breadsticks are having a blog hop in Kelley's honor! The full link list and all of the deets are here on the ODBD Blog.....hop to each blog (I am first), leave a comment, then head back to the ODBD Blog and leave Kelley some birthday wishes! Some of the designer blogs have "hidden blog candy" which will be announced on Oct. 10th on the ODBD Blog along with the blogs on which the candy was hidden. You have until Oct 8 at 8pm EDT to complete the hop. Blog candy winners will have 48 hours to claim their prize from the designer listed.
Most of you are probably wondering......why would I use a moose on a feminine birthday card?! Well, Kelley loves moose and collects them. I promised her a moose diorama last year after doing the Diorama Tutorial HERE, so, I have finally kept my promise!!
The inside panel was stamped all of the way around with the mountain scene from the "Keep Climbing" set, to create a real 3-dimensional scene. The center panel was stamped with the moose image from "Father's Day" and the "Bird Border and Corners" set. The opening was cut out with the largest die from the ODBD Exclusive Spellbinders "Elegant Ovals" die set and the sentiment on the front is from "Mini Tags 1".
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Keep Climbing', 'Father's Day', 'Bird Border and Corners', 'Mini Tags 1';
Cardstock: Stampin Up 'Elegant Eggplant', 'Always Artichoke', and 'Whisper White';
Designer Paper: SEI 'Mirelle';
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Stampin Up ink pads and markers;
Accessories: Scor-Buddy scoring tool, Scor-Tape, ODBD Exclusive Spellbinders 'Elegant Ovals' Dies, Spellbinders 'Fancy Framed Tags 1', Cheery Lynn Designs 'Fanciful Flourish - Small', Crocheted Lace, Grosgrain Ribbon, sponge daubers, Want2Scrap pearls;
Size: Front Panel 4 x 4-1/2, Side Panel 2 x 4, Folded Measurement 4 x 6-1/2.
Now....the moment you've been waiting for......on with the hop!!! Your next stop is with one of the most creative and inspirational stampers and friends I know, Grace Nywening! Enjoy the hop today! I can't wait to hop myself to see what my "Sistah Sticks" have come up with!!
Happy Birthday, Kelley! Have a fabulous, blessed day!!!
Blessings to all,
