Our Daily Bread designs "Lilac"

Our Daily Bread designs "Lilac" Designer Angie Crockett

My card sample for today features the "Lilac" set.  The background was stamped with the Lilac image, using Versamark ink.  For the focal point, the Lilac image was stamped onto Kraft cardstock, using Stazon Jet Black ink, then the panel was cut out using a Spellbinders Oval Nestabilities die.  An extra image was stamped then cut out with paper snips and my craft knife so that it could be popped up with foam tape.  The Lilac blossoms, leaves, and stems were "painted" with bleach, using a fine paintbrush,  in order to create a lighter color.  Once the cardstock was dry, the blossoms only were "dotted" with a Signo White Gel Pen.  To finish, the oval was matted with a Spellbinders Lacey Oval die, then some paper piercing was added.   May Arts Crocheted Lace and Satin Ribbon (bow was tied with a Bow Easy), and some Zva Pearls were the final embellishments.  I may attach a sentiment tag at a later time, or I may leave it as is....who knows?!

Just thought I'd throw in a photo of my lilacs......these are why I chose white for my card today!
