Hi everyone! Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs bi-weekly "For the Love" Blog Hop, hosted by our fabulous Alumni Team and joined by me and other ODBD sisters! This time around our hop is featured around ODBD's Christmas sets.
If you have hopped here from Betty's amazing blog, you are in the right place....if not, please head over to the ODBD Blog and start from the beginning...we don't want you to miss a thing! Hop to each of the designers' blogs, leave a comment, then let us know at the ODBD blog that you have finished. You have until Wednesday, July 18th, at 6pm EDT, to complete the hop....the winner of a $15.00 gift certificate to the ODBD Store will be announced during the new hop post on the 19th.
For my sample today, I have used the "Baking Tag Set", along with the custom "Tag Die" which cuts out the Tag Stamp perfectly! My tag has three layers....here is how I achieved that: First, I stamped the Tag Stamp, image, and sentiment onto Crumb Cake (Kraft) cardstock, then trimmed around the edge of the stamped line. Second, I used the "Tag Die" to cut out a tag from Very Vanilla cardstock. Thirdly, I traced the outside of the "Tag Die" onto the hunter green cardstock, then cut it out by hand. So, by combining the cutting die, plus a little hand-trimming (which was easy), my tag has two matted layers. (Note: some may ask, so thought I would let you know that these are Toll-House chocolate chip cookies....I follow the recipe on the bag of chips, other than the fact that I use real butter and sea salt....makes a huge difference in the taste! YUM!!)
Now.....on with the hop! Your next stop is with my dear sweet and oh-so-talented DT sister, Sabrina!!! Enjoy the rest of the hop!!!!
Blessings to you,
I love the blog and ODBD. The cookie's making me hungry!!!

ReplyDeleteYum is right!! Would anyone turn these down? I'm sure you are right about your adjustments in the recipe. I recently purchased some Hawaiian Salt (it is brown-red!). Who would believe that salt could have such different flavors? Oh, I get caught up in the cooking and almost forget to tell you what a lovely tag you made for these perfectly browned temptations!!
