Our Daily Bread designs June New Release Blog Hop!

Happy Friday, everyone! Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs June New Release Blog Hop! My goodness, all of the new sets are fabulous....check out the New Release post to see them all in one place!

If you have hopped here from Grace's incredible blog, you are right where you want to be. If not, please go back to the ODBD Blog and start from the beginning....we don't want you to miss a thing! The hop will run until Saturday, June 2nd at 8 pm EDT.....just hop from blog to blog, leave a comment at each stop, then head over to the ODBD blog and let us know that you completed the hop. Three hoppers will win a $20 gift certificate for ODBD stamps and one blessed hopper will win the Bread Basket Bundle (the entire new release!)

For my sample today, I am using the beautiful and powerful set, "Crown of Thorns". The background was stamped using the "Grunge Cross Background" stamp, inked in Wisteria Wonder and "thumped" with Cajun Craze marker before stamping. The Jesus image was inked in Wisteria, then I used the "rock and roll" technique....which means I rolled the edges of the already inked stamp in Cajun Craze to create the graduated colors on the image. The edges of both panels were torn then inked heavily for a distressed look. The scripture verse was stamped directly onto the cross background in order to keep the design as simple as possible.

Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Crown of Thorns' and 'Grunge Cross Background';
Cardstock: Stampin Up Wisteria Wonder and Whisper White;
Ink: Stampin Up Wisteria Wonder, Cajun Craze, and Early Espresso, Stazon Jet Black;
Accessories: MegaMount Stamp Block (to stamp the large background), Cross Charm, Copper Cording, Sponge Daubers, Foam Tape;
Size: 6 x 5.

Now.....the moment you've been waiting for.......on with the hop!!!!!    Your next stop will be with the amazingly talented and sweet Sabrina!!!!!  You will absolutely love her project for you today!!!

Enjoy the hop and have a very blessed weekend!!!!
