Our Daily Bread designs February New Release Blog Hop!

Welcome to the February New Release Blog Hop for Our Daily Bread designs! Another brand new month will lots of brand new goodies to show off....to see all of the February New Releases, check out the New Release post on the ODBD blog. All of the Breadsticks have created some amazing samples with the new sets...get ready to hop and see them all!

You're right....this isn't my usual frilly type of card! :) I absolutely LOVE this new background stamp, "He Shall Be Called" and wanted to feature it for the hop today. There was a vellum scrap on my desk which caught my eye, so I started out by grabbing some SEI chalk ink since I love to clear emboss with it, especially on vellum. The ocean blue ink led me to the SEI "Bridgeport" designer paper.....so bright and cheerful! The embossing was a success, so I trimmed around the print to look like deckle scissors (I was too lazy to get up and look for the real ones!), sponged the edges in SU Early Espresso, ran the vellum through my Xyron sticker maker, and adhered to the SEI designer paper. I didn't want to add too many embellishments which would take the attention off of the powerful stamp, so I sponged the edges, paper pierced, and added linen thread and brads. It's "different", but I hope you like it!!

Now, the moment you've been waiting for......on with the hop!!!!

If you hopped here from Debi’s Blog, then you are in the right place! If not, you might want to start at the ODBD Blog....we don't want you to miss a thing!

The Hop will run from 8am EST Feb. 1 until 8pm EST on Feb. 2. Winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog on Feb. 3rd, along with Sandee’s fabulous "Time With" project!

Kelley is giving away SIX prizes this month! FIVE people will win one Single Fish Stamp of their choice, and ONE blessed person will win the FEBRUARY BREAD BASKET BUNDLE! Isn't that awesome?! Thanks, Kelley!!!

To be eligible to win, here is what you have to do:

Hop to each blog on the list and leave a comment for each designer;
Return to the ODBD Blog and tell us you completed the hop, letting us know if there were any blogs you could not comment on;
Answer the question on the ODBD blog… you do not need to answer it on the designer’s blogs...just the ODBD blog.

Your next stop is Julie's blog.....she has another amazing creation to show you!

    Something different, not the same technique can still be magnificent.

    I love how you higlighted His names. It is just what I was thinking when I was looking at the stamp, thinking how I would use it. I decided I would want to use it where the stamp is the main focus...why Turn Our Eyes Off of It?

    I love the color that you added to the vellum. This is beautiful, Angie!
