For my first sample, I have used the "Thankful Song" set, along with the "Wood Background" and "ODBD Elegant Ovals" Die Set. This will be a birthday card for my husband for next month....good thing he doesn't read my blog! :)
My second sample features the "Fall flower Pumpkin" stamp and coordinating "ODBD Custom Pumpkin and Flowers Die". To create the shaped card, a pumpkin colored card was scored, stamped, then cut out with the die. The image was then stamped on white, cut out with the die, then fussy cut around the bottom edge and paper pieced on top of the cut card. To see how to create a shaped card, see the tutorial HERE.

ReplyDeleteAng, these are all nice, but I think my favorite one is the squirrel card. The way you put it within the Nestabilities die, but popped it out is superb! Love the wood background behind it, too!

ReplyDeleteWhat inspiring creations! The woodgrain is such a perfect setting for the sweet squirrel, the little shaped card is just the sweetest, and the Autumn Blessings (which I did miss - not enough time for everything these days) is so rich and just a treat to see.
