Our Daily Bread designs November New Release Blog Hop!

Hello, everyone!!!  Welcome to the Our Daily Bread designs November New Release Blog Hop!  We are so excited about the new sets this month and we are sure that you will be too!  If you have hopped here from sweet Grace's blog, you are in the right place.  If not, please head over to the ODBD Blog and start from the beginning....we don't want you to miss a thing!  The hop will run until Friday, November 2nd at 8pm EDT and the winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog sometime on Saturday, November 3rd.  Three hoppers will win one free stamp set of choice and one blessed hopper will receive a Bread Basket Bundle (the entire new release!!!)  Thanks, Kelley, for your generosity!

You're probably wondering why I didn't create a winter scene with these beautiful sets......the thing I love most about Our Daily Bread designs stamps is that they are ALL so versatile and I absolutely LOVE to get the most out of my stamps by creating projects which are "out of the box".  I think it is so fun to use stamps for purposes other than which they were originally designed.  I used a total of six stamp sets and one background.....listed below:

The outside circle lines on the ornaments, the Birch Background, and the pinecone from Sacred Season were all heat embossed with Pewter embossing powder to match the pewter frame which I purchased from Target several years ago on clearance.  The three bird ornaments images were stamped, the inner circles cut by hand, then sponged and colored with markers to create one continual scene.  The tree images from Quote Collection 1 and Bookmarks-Trees were inked with markers and stamped over the sponged areas to create a distant scene.

Supply List:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Cardinal Ornament', 'Chickadee Ornament', 'Turtle Dove Ornament', 'Sacred Season' (pinecone), 'Quote Collection 1' (trees), 'Bookmarks - Trees' (trees), 'Birch Background';
Cardstock: Stampin Up Real Red and Whisper White;
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Versamark, Stampin up Markers and Ink Pads;
Accessories: Pewter Frame from Target, Spellbinders Circle Nestabilities, Bow Easy, Grosgrain Ribbon, Stampin Up Pewter Embossing Powder, heat tool, scratch paper for masking, Stamp-a-ma-jig for perfect placement of trees and sentiment, Scor-tape;
Size: approx 4 x 11.

Now....the moment you've been waiting for.......on with the hop!!!!!   Your next stop is with the one and only Becca Feeken!!!!  I know she will blow your socks off, so hang on!!! :)

Enjoy the rest of the hop!  May God bless you!!!

  94. Oh Angie! I blew this up to a larger size to see all the details. It is magnificent! I love the birch tree backgrounds...beautiful embossed! And, that frame is just the perfect size for the 3 bird ornaments. I love how you colored the male and female cardinals. Most people just color the deep red. I love the green scenery. I like how you can put any sentiment in the set. It could be a birthday present for a bird-lover like me! LOL This is really so lovely. I like how the frame looks like it is paper-pierced around the edges. One of your many trade-marks! Beautiful,Angie!
