"We Give Thanks to God" Sale at ODBD!!!

"O give thanks unto the Lord for He is good; for His mercy endureth forever!" 1 Chronicles 16:34 KJV

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!! Today is a day of gratitude, a day of fellowship with our families, a day set aside for special remembrance of how much God loves us and gives all things to us. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 KJV Thank you, Lord Jesus, for your sacrifice for us!

There are so many blessings in my life, personally, that I would not be able to list them here. Along with salvation, health, family, prosperity, and much more, another blessing in my life is Our Daily Bread designs and all of my Christian sisters, the "Breadsticks". Kelley, Rick, and the ODBD crew are the BEST! When you are part of the team, you are family, and you know that you belong to something great, something that makes a difference in people's lives. Being able to reach out to someone with God's Word on a hand-made card or gift fills my heart with joy!

As a thank you to all of Our Daily Bread designs' faithful customers, there is a two day sale going on right now at Our Daily Bread designs. Receive 10% off and free shipping on US orders....(save $5.00 on shipping on international orders). Please see this post on the ODBD blog for the details on how to receive the discount. Many of my sister "Breadsticks" have created special samples for you as well on the same post.....enjoy!! If you visit each designer's blog and leave a comment, you could be one of four winners of a $20.00 gift certificate to the ODBD store! You have until Sunday, November 27 at midnight EST to leave a comment.

Now, for some deets on my card: I am so very pleased that this card took less than an hour to make...yay! That is quite the miracle for me!! :) I'm absolutely in love with this Prima "Alla Prima" designer paper....the colors are so gorgeous! I chose three colors of matching SU cardstock, dry embossed them with a SU "Square Lattice" embossing folder, cut them out with Spellbinders Nested Maples Leaves dies, sponged the edges, then popped them up with foam tape. The Thanksgiving sentiment from the ODBD set, "Give Thanks" was stamped directly on the designer paper.

Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Give Thanks';
Cardstock: SU More Mustard, Old Olive, and Taken With Teal;
Designer Paper: 'Alla Prima' by Prima Marketing;
Ink: Stazon Timber Brown and SU Early Espresso (sponging);
Accessories: Spellbinders Nested Maple Leaves, SU 'Square Lattice' Embossing Folder, May Arts Satin ribbon, Zva Creative Pearls, paper piercer and template, sponge dauber, foam tape;
Size: A2.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a very blessed Thanksgiving!!!!

  11. Angie, Your card is gorgeously done with non-traditional colors. LOve those dies. I also love that you proclaim your love of Jesus Christ in your entry and who you are. I took a class once that said we were God's Princess. When I feel down it's good for me to remember that as well as I'm a mom, wife, sister, friend. Happiest of Thanksgivings.

  23. I love the simplicity of your design, & your choice of colors. They really 'pop.' I am a little confused, though, since the card you show on your blog doesn't match the example above your name link on the email Kelly sent out anouncing this Thanksgiving blog hop. Since that example was also an awesome design, I'm wondering where I can see it in more detail?
