Clean and Simple "Happy Thanksgiving"

Hi, everyone! Today's Clean and Simple Challenge over at Splitcoast is to use Tearing and/or Distressing on your CAS card. I chose to use sponging/ink distressing on the edges.

This is a clean and simple card which I made in under an hour, which is fast for me! The SU Barely Banana cardstock was embossed with an SU embossing folder, edges sponged in Early Espresso, layered on a white mat, and popped up over a Cajun Craze card. The leaves and sentiment are both from a yard sale and are not marked with a company name....so sorry! The gingham ribbon is from Michael's.

Thanks for visiting today!  Stay tuned tomorrow.....I will have a sneak peek of the November sets by Our Daily Bread designs!!

Blessings,

Angie Crockett

Lovely card, Ang! I like the way you sponged just around the edges of the EF. Nicely done! I understand about cards not being made quickly. I made one yesterday that probably took me 2 hours, and I thought I was doing good on time! lol

Btw, did you know that you can avoid spam in your comments just by not allowing anonymous comments? Yep, it all goes away with one simple change! And no having to moderate! That's how my blog is set up. It's wonderful! And people can still comment without linking to anything if they want. But the spambots won't see your blog.
