Doggie Sympathy Card

Hi everyone!  Sympathy cards are never fun to make, but they are necessary as we go through life.  Not only do we miss our family members and friends, but pets can be like family members also.  My friend had to make a tough decision and said goodbye to her doggie of 14 years yesterday, so I made a card for her using the "Dog Sympathy" set from Our Daily Bread designs.  I know how much she loved him, so I used some heart cutting dies from Cheery Lynn Designs.

Once I decided which cardstock to use, I cut the heart frame first, then measured to see what size panel to cut for the scene.....after stamping and coloring with markers and ink pads, I glued the frame onto the panel with craft glue, since any adhesive strips would show through.

Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Dog Sympathy' (image) and 'Paw Prints' (sentiment);
Cardstock: Stampin Up Poppy Parade, More Mustard, and Whisper White;
Designer Paper: Basic Grey 'Max and Whiskers';
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Stampin Up markers and ink pads;
Accessories: Cheery Lynn Designs 'Sweetheart Frame' Die and 'Celtic Heart' die (coming soon to the ODBD store), Zva Creative Pearls, paper piercer and template foam tape;
Size: 5-1/2 x 5-1/2.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a very blessed weekend!!!
