Warmed With Joy!

Happy Saturday, everyone! It's a sunny but cool day here in Indiana....a good day to spend in my stamp room...yay!!! I was so happy to be able to play in some challenges for this card, which I will be sending to a dear friend for her birthday this week!

Here are the challenges incorporated into this card:
Our Daily Bread designs Stamping In Time "2-0-1-2" Challenge: 2=designer papers, 0 = no buttons or brads, 1 = ribbon, and 2 = two colors of cardstock;
Our Daily Bread designs Shining The Light Challenge: Something Old and Something New: something old is the SEI pattern paper, something new is the Flower Soft Topper and stamps;
The Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast is to choose an item from "Close To My Art".....there were several items which inspired me....teapots with flowers, floral clocks, and the cutest pink pig.....after a minutes of looking around, I knew I had to break out the Flower Soft toppers with teacups that I haven't used yet;
The Ways To Use It Challenge at Splitcoast is to use your favorite things: Glimmer Mist, Flower Soft, paper piercing, exacto knife, Zva Creative pearls, and the color PINK!;
The Free4All Challenge at Splitcoast is a recipe challenge: 3d Flowers (Flower Soft), gems, die cuts, and designer paper;
the Our Creative Corner Challenge is to create a shaped card....done!!

Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Special Blend';
Cardstock: SU Pink Pirouette and Whisper White;
Designer Paper: SEI Juliette and the Springtime Card Topper Collection by Flower Soft (When I saw the plaid pattern under the teacup on the Card Topper, I had to dig in my stash to find this designer paper by SEI to match it.....yay!);
Ink: Stazon Timber Brown and SU Early Espresso for sponging the edges;
Accessories: Spellbinders Grand Labels One Dies, Bow Easy, Flower Soft 'Baby Pink', Exacto knife to cut slit for ribbon access, Zva Creative Pearls, 'Pearl' Glimmer Mist, SU Pink Pirouette grosgrain ribbon, paper piercer, foam tape;
Size: Approx 5-1/2 x 5-1/2.

If you'd like to learn how to make shaped cards using your cutting dies, check out this video tutorial I made for Our Daily Bread designs....it's very easy and very fun!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a blessed weekend!!!!

Angie this is my first time on your blog and I just had to come here and leave a comment when I saw your card! It is truly amazing. So beautiful I can not put it into words. Our Lord has blessed u with great talent and I am so humbled to be able to see your work and be inspired by it. You are one busy woman. Our Daily Bread is indeed a great site and I have purchased from them often. Just wish I was not cut off buying by hubby...I kind of over did it for awhile buying stuff so now I have to back off...oops!!! Thanks to wonderful people like you, I have so much to be inspired by that I can try to use what I already have and make my cards and scrapbooking pages. TY for sharing with us. God bless. ekciampo
