"It Is Well With My Soul" Sympathy Card

Happy Saturday, everyone! It's a bright and sunny day here in Indiana....isn't it amazing what a little sunshine can do to the spirit, even though it snowed over night?

Today I would like to share a bittersweet sympathy card for a couple who was blessed to spend an (unexpected) hour with their newborn son before he passed away. Isn't it awesome to know that they will be reunited once the Lord's kingdom has been set up?! Until then, may the Lord cover them in love and peace.

I have used a couple of challenges in the making of this card:
The Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast is to choose an item from "Everything Turquoise" ....I fell in love with the soft blue and green color combo of this bedding set;
Paper Play: Lovely Lace;
Craft Your Passion: Color Bingo...blue, green, and brown;
The Robyn's Nest Challenge at the ODBD Forum is to use something new.

Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'It Is Well With My Soul' Background Stamp, which will be released on February 1st;
Cardstock: SU Bashful Blue and Whisper White;
Ink: Stazon Timber Brown, SU Bashful Blue and Old Olive, Ranger 'Antique Linen';
Accessories: MegaMount Stamp block, Birds and Swirls Embossing Folder, sponge daubers, MS Foliage punch, May Arts Crocheted Lace, velvet ric-rac (brand unknown), May Arts white roses, 'Pearl' Glimmer Mist;
Size: A2.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a very blessed weekend!!

What a beautiful card for such special people. It is hard for me to create some cards.Thanks for your suggestion for card making thoughtfulness.
