Classics Challenge

Hello, everyone! Happy Tuesday! Today is my very first day hosting a new challenge over at the ODBD Forum, previously known as Christian Paper Crafts. Our Daily Bread designs has recently acquired the community forum, which now looks different, but things are mostly the same. Though the normal challenges remain on the ODBD blog each month, at the ODBD Forum, there are weekly challenges just for fun, which have been carried over from Christian Paper Crafts. Come on over and check us out! There is a John Bible study by Natalie Houston which is very thorough and insightful, there are devotionals, praise and prayer requests, plus lots of paper-crafting tips and fun as well.

One of the new challenges at the ODBD Forum is the Classic Challenge, which revisits some classic color and sketch challenges from Christian Paper Crafts. This weeks Classic Challenge, ODBDCC01,is a color challenge and is based on the previous CPC84 inspiration piece.....use the colors from this cute little high chair. I love all of the browns and blues together....one of my fave color combos! I chose to use Memory Box 'Minuet' designer paper since it matched all of the colors of the high chair. Memory Box seems to have just about any color combo you need!

Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Faith';
Cardstock: SU Crumb Cake and Whisper White;
Designer Paper: 'Minuet' by Memory Box;
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Ranger Antique Linen, SU Bashful Blue;
Accessories: Spellbinders Lacey Ovals, May Arts Suede Leaves and Crocheted Lace, CM Corner Rounder, Zva Creative Pearls, 'Pearl' Glimmer Mist, Paper Piercer and Template, Sponge Dauber, Foam Tape;
Size: 5-1/2 x 5-1/2.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you come over to the ODBD Forum and join us! God Bless!

Angella, what a beautiful card! The colors are some of my favorites and the Bible verse is also a favorite. Thank you for sharing and giving me some inspiration for cards to make.

i wanted to say thank you for taking the time to explain the spell binders. i did purchase a metal cutting plate for my big shot. i have found that i can get both the embossing and a good crisp cut when i use that plate. It does depend upon the paper that i am using. I do love spell binders. Thanks again for your help
