Anchor For The Soul

Happy Thanksgiving Eve, everyone! I am so excited about Thanksgiving tomorrow....the one day my entire family gets together!

Today I am sharing a quick and easy birthday card I made for my boss. I started by grabbing the SEI "Silver Valley" designer paper pack, since I wanted a wood-look frame and some manly background paper....this was perfect! Next I chose Spellbinders Labels 18 and the "Anchor" set by Our Daily Bread designs. The image was "stamped off" for a lighter shade of red, then the sentiment was overstamped in black. The sentiment panel was sponged with Ranger Antique Linen.

Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Anchor';
Cardstock: SU Night of Navy and Whisper White;
Designer Paper: SEI 'Silver Valley';
Ink: SU Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso (sponging), Ranger Antique Linen (sponging), and Stazon Jet Black;
Accessories: Spellbinders Labels 18, Ticket Corner Punch, May Arts Twill Ribbon, Basic Grey Button, SU Linen Thread, Antique Brass Brads;
Size: 5-1/2 x 5-1/2.

Thanks for stopping by today! Before you start cooking tomorrow, come back and check out a special post about a special sale on Friday at Our Daily Bread designs! You don't want to miss it!

Have a very blessed day!!

Angela: Your cards are always an inspiration to me. I aspire to make mine half as beautiful as yours. I love making cards and always want mine to look like I have taken extra time with them, so the receiver knows how special they are to me.
