Noah's Ark Christening Gift

Hi everyone! Happy Friday to you! Today I would like to share a christening gift for my step-nephew, Isaac. The adorable image is from an Our Daily Bread designs set, "Noah's Ark", cut out and popped up over some Cuttlebug'd waves which were cut with scalloped scissors. The sentiment was printed from my pc, then cut out with a Spellbinders Mega Ovals Large die. The rainbow was sponged with Stampin' Up ink pads and sponge daubers.

This week's Wednesday Case Artist over at Christian Paper Crafts is Traci Starkweather....you probably already know Traci from the "He Is Able" RAK blog. Traci's heart is pure gold and she loves to bless others and share the love she has for the Lord. I have chosen Traci's Noah's Ark card to re-create for this framed gift. I have also used Gloria's Sketch Tuesday Challenge for this week......yes, I did "take some liberties" here, but it is still recognizable, right?! :) I have also used the "Wombat Soup" challenge from CPC, which is to use plain cardstock, embossing, and shapes. The Fun on Friday Challenge for last week was to make your own designer paper, and the ODBD Stamping In Time challenge is also "DP by Me"!

I have also used this week's super fun Tuesday Trigger Challenge over at the Paper Crafts' Moxie Fab World Blog.....if you haven't subscribed to this blog, you should! Cath has the most interesting and fun posts there each week!!! This challenge is called "Rainbow Bright"....how could I use Noah's Ark and not have a rainbow?!

'Project Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Noah's Ark';
Cardstock: Stampin' Up Ballet Blue and Whisper White;
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Stampin Up Ink Pads and markers;
Accessories: Gingham ribbon, Cuttlebug Divine Swirls Embossing Folder, Scalloped Scissors, Chipboard Letters by 'Pressed Petals', sponge daubers;
Technique: Coloring with Sponges, Dry Embossing, Framed Gift;

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a blessed weekend!!!

This is lovely, Angie! I have this stamp set but never dreamed of using it for a shower gift! You are so creative! I may have to file this idea into my "memory bank" for future use! Love it! TFS
