Bible Verse Thursday / Stamping in Time Challenge Combo!

Happy Thursday, everyone!! It's time again for a new Bible Verse Thursday Challenge over at Christian Paper Crafts AND a brand new Stamping In Time: On Assignment Challenge over at the Our Daily Bread designs blog! You know I can't resist challenge combos, so I have combined these two once again!

Here are the deets for the Bible Verse Thursday Challenge:

"It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him." Lamentations 3:22-24

This week's Bible Verse Thursday Challenge theme is "Measure Up"! While creating your card, layout, altered item, or gift, think of different ways that we use "measurements"...we measure time (day, night, calendars, clocks, etc.), we measure ingredients while cooking, we measure our material when sewing, etc. Perhaps you could use a scripture which speaks of measurements...."my cup runneth over", or "the Lord is my portion", etc. We can't wait to see your take on the challenge! I have also incorporated last week's Wednesday Case Artist challenge...I couldn't pass up the opportunity to case one of sweet Lynn Ray's beautiful cards.....I chose this gorgeous card to re-create. Also, this week's Shining the Light Challenge at ODBD is all about new life/flowers/easter, etc......couldn't resist but incorporate it too!!!

Here is the "ingredients list" for my "Measure Up" sample:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs "Scripture Collection 5"
Cardstock: SU Marina Mist, Whisper White
Designer Paper: Memory Box "Minuet"
Ink: SU Marina Mist
Accessories: Flower Soft Card Topper, Ultrafine Flower Soft Raspberry Fizz and Sage, Original Flower Soft Baby Blue, Zva Creative Pearls, "Pearl" Glimmer Mist, May Arts Crocheted Lace and Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Paper Piercer and template
Techniques: Paper Piercing, Flower Soft

Here is a close-up view of the beautiful scripture verse surrounded with a Flower Soft bouquet:

It is time for ODBD Stamping In Time Challenge(SNTODBD31)! The assignment is to use Our Daily Bread Design stamps. The challenge this rotation is all about "NEW to You"! We are using NEW to You" as our theme. This means you can try out a technique or product that is NEW to you. You can use something new like your ODBD stamps, papers, embellishments that you may have had and not used yet or just got in the mail. Or, you received something in the mail from a friend that is NEW to you and you want to use it! This rotation is all about adding something "NEW to You" to your card! We look forward to seeing what you create using ODBD stamps! Remember, the more you play the more you increase your chance to win! Upload your creations to this post on the ODBD blog and check out the deets on how to win!
