Stamped Candles x 2 !

Wow, am I behind on blogging!!! My plate has been overflowing lately and I found myself a little burned out and exhausted. After cutting back for a couple of weeks, I've got to get back into the swing! So, this post will be short and sweet.......maybe! ;)

This stamped candle is one I made for the Our Daily Bread designs' blog tutorial last month....see the full tutorial HERE. If you haven't tried making a stamped candle, you have GOT to give it a go.....so easy and fast too!!! This image and scripture verse are both from the ODBD set, "You Will Find Refuge"; the crocheted ribbon is by May Arts and the velvet ribbon I got on clearance at Michael's....not sure of the brand.

My second attempt at a stamped candle was for Bible Verse Thursday a couple of weeks ago....the theme was "Gifts", so I used the snowflake image and scripture verse from the ODBD set, "Peace & Joy". The pearls are by Zva Creative, the lace ribbon is Offray, and once again, the velvet ribbon came from Michael's. It's not very visible, but the snowflake was colored with a Glitter Pen after coloring with the Almost Amethyst marker from SU.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Stay tuned for a new Bible Verse Thursday Challenge tomorrow, plus some updated news from Christian Paper Crafts. God Bless!

You did a phenomenal job on those two!!! The bird one is so stunning, and I guess I didn't think this technique would allow for such vivid images, but it does!!

How did I possibly miss these? They are fantastic. (That was one of the weeks I was so ill, I only came to the computer to post on the blog...sorry!)

Angie, these are both so stunning! I can not wait to look at the complete tutorial. I hope I have the materials on hand...I want to make one this weekend...if I am up to it. They both are just so beautiful. I love how clearly the Scripture shows...such small details so clear!

Thank you so much for making a tutorial and everything to share this! It is wonderful...I am so excited!
