Stamping in Time: On Assignment Challenge

I am so happy to be able to participate again this week in the Our Daily Bread Designs' Stamping In Time: On Assignment Challenge! The Assignment: Any and ALL ODBD stamps! Yeah, baby!!The challenge: "Crafting Choices".....The challenge this week is brought to you by our special challenge hostess, my dear friend and Design Team sister from Christian Paper Crafts, Marcelle Schauer!! Yay, Marcelle!! Marcelle is challenging us to use some of our forgotten or neglected supplies......brads or colored pencils. If you feel adventurous, use both!!! I, however, wimped out, and used only brads!!!

Check out the following blogs to see what the other girls have come up with for this challenge:
Marcelle

My card today features the ODBD set, Love One Another, Spellbinders Fleur De Lis small pendant die, EK Success Fleur De Lis Border Punch, May Arts Satin Ribbon tied with a Bow Easy, some dark purple brads that I have had in my stash for about six years and NEVER used, and some gorgeous paper by Karen Foster Designs.

The close-up view shows a circle punched from the designer paper, stamped with "Love" only from a verse in the "Love One Another" set. Paper piercing and a little sponging with eggplant, then Pearl Glimmer Mist over the whole card and it was out the door! This was an anniversary card for my in-laws.

I have also incorporated two challenges from Christian Paper Crafts for this week. Gloria's Sketch Challenges are super fun each week....I thoroughly enjoyed working with this one!! Also, today is Bible Verse Thursday Challenge....to make a wedding, anniversary, or love card. (Duh...I forgot to take a photo of the inside which shows my verse!!!)

Stay tuned on Saturday for a new Shining The Light Challenge on the ODBD blog...PLUS sneak peeks will start on Saturday for the upcoming May sets!! Thanks so much for stopping by today!!! Have a blessed day!!!
