ODBD 2nd Anniversary Celebrations - China Inspiration Challenge

Welcome to day 2 of Our Daily Bread Designs' 2nd Anniversary Celebrations! Hopefully you have checked out the challenge details which were posted in advance on the ODBD blog and SCS Member Forum, to give you extra time to play! Each challenge lasts only one day, so make sure you check out the "Heads Up" post HERE. Yesterday's challenge theme was "Cotton"......today's challenge is an inspiration challenge all about china ware, since china is the "Contemporary Gift" for 2nd Anniversaries. Choose one of the photos below or just the general theme of china as inspiration for your project. Link your project to Mr. Linky on the ODBD post HERE by 8:00 EST Monday. Please link the challenge in your post and new work only please....no previous work. The winner will receive a $20.00 Gift Certificate toward ODBD stamps!

My Card Details:

The Case Artist Saturday Challenge over at Christian Paper Crafts is to choose a project from Michelle Orr's gallery....congrats to Michelle for being featured this week!! I chose this gorgeous card because it looked like a picture hanging on a wall-papered wall....such a clever idea! I had been struggling with ideas for the ODBD China Anniversary Challenge....until I saw this awesome card......thanks so much, Michelle, for the inspiration!!!

I used some new paper from the Memory Box "Spearmint" line for my "wall-paper". Since I still had my package of paper doilies out from my Bible Verse Thursday card earlier this week, I colored one with a Copper Leafing Pen for the China Challenge. The center of the china platter was cut out with a circle Nestabilities die, the violets from "The Lord Has Risen" were stamped in Brilliant Blue, colored with Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, and Summer Sun, then the entire piece was clear embossed with Ranger Clear Embossing Powder for an enamel looking finish. The sentiment is from "Happy Easter".

To see the samples from the rest of the team, please visit the links listed below! There is HIDDEN BLOG CANDY on some of the blogs, but you must leave a comment to be eligible to win. Those with candy from the China Challenge will announce the winners on Tuesday's post. Just in case you miss that, on March 19th all of the winners from our Anniversary Celebrations will be mentioned on the ODBD blog! Each challenge will have a winner, the Blog Hop on the 17th will have more prizes, plus there is hidden Blog Candy for each challenge as well! Good luck!!
