NEW RELEASE / BLOG HOP / DT COLOR CHALLENGE / GUEST DESIGNER CONTEST

WOW, July is here already!!! And that means brand new sets from Our Daily Bread Designs!!!! This set is called, "Let Us Begin", one of two beautiful sets which feature Mother Teresa's brilliant words. We girls on the ODBD Design Team, lovingly called "The Breadsticks", were given a challenge to use three colors ONLY from the Our Daily Bread Designs ink pad collection. I chose Olive, Terra Cotta, and Sunflower. The background scene was sponged with my three colors onto watercolor paper. The layout is Splitcoast's Sketch Challenge today....a little tricky for the set I wanted to use!! The lotus flowers were colored with a blender pen and ink, and then painted with Buttercream Shimmerz.....don't forget....Shimmerz is on sale this week at ODBD!!!
Finished with LOTS of paper piercing, Hero Arts black pearls, and satin ribbon by May Arts.

ARE YOU READY FOR A BLOG HOP?! WOO HOO, WE ARE!!!

If you have hopped here from Lorelie's blog, you're in the right place! The blog hop actually begins 9:00 am CST at the ODBD BLOG......there are three chances for blog candy along the way, so make sure you visit all of the girls! You don't want to miss all of the previews with the new ODBD sets!!! Blog candy winners will be posted on the ODBD blog on July 4th....good luck!!!

MORE EXCITING NEWS:
July 1st marks the first day of our GUEST DESIGNER CONTEST!!! That's right, YOU could be the next Guest Designer for Our Daily Bread Designs!!! We are looking for two designers to join the Bread Basket for a month in August and in September! If this is something you would be interested in, email three samples (.jpeg files) of your best work to Judy at lidaroseroz@GMAIL.com by July 9th! That's right - you only have NINE days!!! ODBD images are preferred, but not required. But what IS required? If you are chosen, you will be working with two beautiful stamps sets during your "Guest Month" and will make a total of six projects for that month. Can you stick to a deadline? Do you have photography skills that can show off your creations? We want to hear from you!
Include: your name, address, and a link to your blog and SCS Gallery in your email. Tell us a little about yourself and why you would like to be in the "Bread Basket" (our Design Team). We will announce the Guest Designers on the ODBD blog on July 11th! Good luck!!!

Thanks for "hopping" through the Bread Basket today! We can't wait to see your entries for the Guest Designer contest! Hope you found some blog candy along the way too! God Bless!
