Spunky Sprout Lamp Inspiration

I LOVE to get up early on Saturday morning to see what the Inspiration Challenge is on Splitcoast!!! I love being able to re-create the inspiration pieces with limited supplies.....to be honest, I just love a good challenge!

This week we were to use an item from the Spunky Sprout catalog. I chose the white version of this lamp . Though the lamp had many different flower and leaf silhouettes, I decided to use Best Blossoms and keep it simple. The leaves were stamped with Sahara Sand and the blossoms with Basic Gray. I sponged the edges heavy with Sahara Sand, and gradually lightened toward the inside to create the illusion of light in the center. I adhered vellum (with the help of my Xyron sticker maker) over the image to soften it. Finished with paper piercing, ribbon, and brads. I mailed this to a dear friend who just had a miscarriage this week.
